Figure consultation
What should I wear today? Often it's a spontaneous decision based on feeling, and there's nothing wrong with that. Nevertheless, there are a few things you can consider when getting dressed.
In our figure consultation, we want to share these tips and show you how to dress attractively and comfortably at the same time. And in doing so, you will learn that you don't have to be dissatisfied with your body, but can feel good and happy in it.
If, after reading our figure consultation, you know how to perfectly showcase your body, but are still struggling with the right clothing size, we recommend our size guide. In it, we show you how to order your favorite item in the correct size right on the first try.
Small Bust
Women with a small bust can opt for playfully decorated clothing. Ruffles, breast pockets, ruching, and other appliqués create beautiful, feminine curves around your bust. Even the old horizontal stripe trick can be used to give your bust more visual volume.
However, you should avoid volume when it comes to tops. Instead, opt for shirts that are not too wide, or try an empire-waist dress. The cut of this dress shifts your waist up a bit, which helps to deliberately highlight the bust area.
Large Bust
If you have a large bust, you should use exciting patterns and colors sparingly on your clothes. And you should also avoid turtlenecks, as they make your neck appear shorter. Instead, play around with favorite pieces that emphasize your curves and, if you wish, show off a wide neckline. You can also make your bust appear smaller with slightly longer-cut garments.
If you want to dress particularly elegantly, then plain-colored individual pieces in muted tones are recommended. For example, a simple black shirt or a beige bikini. This way, you can subtly make your silhouette appear slimmer and look glamorous.
Curvy
A narrow waist and wide hips can either be defined by fitted dresses or emphasized by flowing, airy fabrics. In any case, you should avoid straight cuts and opt for light tops and dark trousers in terms of color, as this will draw the eye to your upper body and not your hips. However, you can also play with this tip to achieve the opposite and truly accentuate your waist.
Be confident and don't hide your waist under overly large pants; this could lead to a boxy effect that you should avoid.
Small Belly
A little tummy doesn't stop you from dressing attractively and figure-hugging. Initially, you could, for example, find a part of your body that you want to accentuate – our other figure consultations can help you with this.
If you want to conceal your tummy a little, then high-waisted trousers or skirts are a good option. However, the latter should not be too wide, as they would make your silhouette appear even larger. But tops in dark colors that are cut a little looser and flow gently can also be used to your advantage. For example, it is also possible to draw attention away from your tummy and towards your face – this can be done, among other things, with a playfully wide collar that lengthens the neck.
